Here in Florida, we had a Bezos rocket go boom on the pad a few weeks ago, but oddly the thing that shook the house more was a pretty strong earthquake off the coast of Cuba. We do get weaker tornados in the Springtime or during hurricanes sometimes, but they are attracted to trailer parks.
The weather alrert went off and I turned on the TV to see what was going on. Tornado about 10 miles north of us. About that time a rumbling roar starts shaking the windows. "What the hell? The tornado is north of here." Looked out the front window. Sun is shining. Opened the front door to see what was going on. "Ah ha. Blue Origin engine test." Could tell by the sound. They have been testing a lot lately.

I guess they are playing catch up because of the one that blew up.

I dealt with a 5-hour blackout last night. Fun stuff. Everything was eerily silent and dark. I went out and barely saw anyone. So I did what any normal person would do and did some amateur astronomy to take advantage of the unusually good observation conditions.

I saw my first UFO - UFO in the sense that I don't know what it is, not in the sense that I think it's an alien spaceship lol.

A bright white light hovering a few hundred feet or so over the ground in the distance and moved enough that I think I can rule out a star or Venus, but not enough to be a plane (there is an airport nearby). I've seen lots of planes coming and going, and this definitely wasn't that. It might have been a helicopter. Or then again, maybe I'm wrong and it was a celestial object of some kind. That's my best guess.

How are you doing people? Hope everyone's fine.

My right lymph node got swollen to the size of an apple, I looked like a sick frog. More like a cross between a sick frog and a hamster with a giant right cheek. I have been getting 2 shots a day, and today the last day! My butt's full of holes, ffs. Lol. And I didn't know how painful a swollen lymph node is! It felt like all my body was that swollen node. Iyyyh. Good part, it helped me ignoring everything around while lying down half dizzy from the pain killers. Trying not to watch or read ANY kind of news, and I'm more successful every day... :D Fuck everything.

The murderous heat wave is finally around here. The whole week is 40-41-42 C which means, it's going to be felt around 45. I'm living in the panic zone aka my study room under the AC. Myeh. I don't want t move an inch.

Working hard, playing hard, sleeping never lol. It's been either stormy around here or extremely hot. I'm taking a tip from lizards and staying under a rock while the sun's out. I've been even more vigilant about mosquitos and now they bother me less. You can tell Aladdin's lamp never made its way to the American South, because I guarantee, mosquito eradication would be near the top of the list.

OK. Spilling my guts... If I can get my ass right somehow, in very near future, I'm dreaming of inviting you guys over here. Which will make me very happy. I'm very serious about this fantasy by the way. It's a fantasy right now, and I can't offer anything super good, but yeah. It's really in my head. Just keep in the fantasy category right now. But we'll get there, remember that.

E: For some reason, I've become an emotional sap... Getting old I guess.

Mosquitos are not a big ptoblem here in the big city.

Summer house is another matter though. Wilderness... But the winds takes care of that. It's pretty windy around here.

So, I hallucinated seeing a man who wasn't there twice this morning. I was at work, thought I saw someone outside who was hunched over. They disappeared as soon as I looked directly at them. Sometimes, my mind will play tricks on me, and I'll misinterpret what I'm seeing in the corner of my eyes. I pass by a pole, my mind goes "person," but I look and see it isn't. That's fairly normal, but there was nothing there to be misinterpreted. About a minute later, I see what looks like the same man walking around the corner, still hunched down at first, but straightening out as they approached, then quickly disappeared. That one spooked me more, since (A) the illusion was moving, and (B) I was in a locked room, where there shouldn't have been any other people.

This is not something that's happened to me before. I've occasionally heard voices before when I was tired, but I've never straight up hallucinated a person.
