Universe expected to decay in 10⁷⁸ years

Well, I have some bad news...
The universe is expected to completely collapse within 10^78 years (one quinvigintillion years or the subjective experience of one DMV appointment). The heat death of the universe will undoubtedly put a crimp in my future plans and sadly, might interrupt my first novel getting published.
The silver lining is that we're technically almost at the very beginning of the universe. If the universe was an average metal song (9+ minutes long), then everything we've ever known would be at that silent and/or instrumental intro sequence before the vocals, and that's pretty neat.
