70 yrs old and met my first real bonifide flat earther. Holy shit! It only takes about a minute to realize there is no sense arguing or even discussing it. Just bat shit stupid. Space doesn’t even exists, he accepts a somewhat biblical version that we are under a dome, the sun, moon and stars are under the dome and the sky is water. Period. I didn’t get any further than that. I have an app on my phone that calls my number and I can just say, “excuse me, gotta go”. Just……wow.
I had this engineer from India doing some work for my team. I saw that his screen saver was a pic of this giant skeleton a bunch of guys were uncovering. Looked like a giant Halloween decoration. He told me it was a Hindu god. Right, what a shit photoshop effort.

LOL. Wish I would have thought of that, but he would have agreed as it seems some Hindu gods do reincarnate.

I just wish all of these people actually voted.

A significant percentage of them probably did. Trump's just barely - suspiciously barely - won in the battleground states, a victory he credited to Elon Musk, who openly bribed voters.

Here is one kind, brave soul... lol An American living in Istanbul. Interestingly enough, I have seen several videos made by Americans living in Türkiye. The ones spending American dollars are having a blast of course, lol. I'm used to Europeans, esp. Brits and Germans, but it's interesting to see Americans spending years over here.

I travelled extensively when I was younger. No matter where I went, there was at least one British expat at the bar. They were always glad to see Americans. One time I had a few days of contract work at the Cuban-army built airport in Grenada, down in the Southern Caribbean. My boyfriend came with me. Sure enough, there was this famous old Brit who sailed there on some shitty sailboat, got stuck there and opened a beach-shack dive-bar. Well, sitting there at the bar was John "Coconut" Caldwell, author of "Desperate Voyage". Anyways, I bought a signed edition and got to hear the two of them tell sea tales as we all got schnockered.
A few years later I returned to the island on a barefoot windjammer cruise on a 200-foot boat called "The Yankee Clipper". It was an old Vanderbilt family yacht. There were only about 30 passengers and 20 crew. I think half the passengers were nudists, LOL. A party group for sure.
Unfortunately, that cruise line went bankrupt when hurricane Mitch sank their flagship "Fantome" in '98.

Yeah, I agree a lot of them probably did vote. And you can bet that the participation in the next election will be a record! Fingers crossed.
