We are living in the twilight zone

I went out to the garden early this morning to manually pollinate the pumpkins. Well, there already were 5 or 6 huge bumble bees doing the job for me. Made me smile. Fingers crossed, so far it looks like I may have a good early pumpkin crop by midsummer.

As a kid, I once had to throw a few pumpkins in the compost pile (I'm pretty sure it was in the spring). I missed with one of them and accidentally spilled a bunch of pumpkin guts all over the place. Later that year, there were several perfectly healthy pumpkins growing next to the compost pile.

The Bible gets names, dates places, and timelines wrong. The gospels contradict each other on basic facts. Genesis describes a flat earth with a dome over it. Exodus claims 2 million Israelites wandered a desert for decades, with no archeological trace.
But somehow, we're still letting this book dictate modern laws, women's rights, LGBTQ+ lives, and scientific/medical policy!?

That and plus according to Jeebus, the apocalypse is 2,000 years late already. The whole "there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom" bit.Unbeliever wrote: Sun May 10, 2026 3:34 pm The Bible gets names, dates places, and timelines wrong. The OT says Enoch and Elijah went to heaven way before Jesus's time, but Jesus says "No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man".
Conclusion: Jesus is a liar.
