A very good movie

Post by Unbeliever »

I just finished No Country for Old Men, with Tommy Lee Jones and a bunch of others. I heard about it a long time ago, but never got around to seeing it. I'm glad I finally did, though. Pretty good flick.

It was good, but not the kind of movie I wish to see twice.

I agree, I'm not likely to see it again any time soon. Ride On, with Jackie Chan, was a much better movie, and I'll probably watch it fairly often.

I just finished watching Life, with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. I've seen quite a few good Eddie Murphy movies, but this one was by far the best! I thought it would be a comedy, but it was anything but. The outtakes at the end were kinda funny, but there weren't many.

For some reason, I thought the movie The Whole Nine Yards was a film about football! 🤣
But I recently found out that it's with Bruce Willis and has nothing at all to do with football, so I watched it last night and had a great time. Today I plan to watch the sequel and see if it's as good.

You're thinking of The Longest Yard. The remake traded Burt Reynolds for Adam Sandler. No, really.

As for the Whole Ten Yards, I haven't seen it, but apparently it's not as good. I wanted to see it but my ex was weirdly uninterested. Which is odd because she would watch all kinds of terrible movies and television.

Ah, yes! I guess you're right, I was thinking of The Longest Yard! Is it worth watching?

Dunno. DIdn't see it. I imagine the 70's movie has some qualities if they remade it. Not sure about the Adam Sandler vehicle.

I've never been a big fan of Sandler.

I just finished watching a real tear-jerker of a movie, called What Dreams May Come, with Robin Williams. Sad as hell through most of it, but it got much less so at the end. And they all lived happily ever after.
