Swimming in the sea is one of my favorite things to do, though. Salty, foamy, refreshingly cool, gently tugs at the body. It's like a weighted blanket but better. And a nonzero chance of seeing a dolphin. True, there are sometimes things in there that are not fun to be around, but that's true everywhere.

lol, this guy is a laugh riot. Some other guy is essentially making feral chickens - super low maintenance, they basically fend for themselves, but the downside is that they don't produce a huge amount of meat (predation will do that) and don't make a large amount of eggs for human consumption (most eggs will be future chickens). So it's not so much farm-to-table as it is farm-to-farm.

While people did raise feral chickens historically for a time, it turns out that people really badly want mass production of eggs and affordable meat so they preferred docile non-self-sufficient chickens over feral, self-sufficient chickens. Who knew?

Way too many people drowned in that horse. Wouldn't it have been better to gift the horse to the Trojans than to set it down on a beach at low tide and then just hope the Trojans pull it to safety? (the Greeks' safety, not the Trojans' safety, of course) Because if they get there too late it's glub glub time for Odysseus and all his men and that's not exactly the desired outcome.

And the instant I see an impressively armored 8-foot tall supersoldier (not a space marine) effortlessly cleave one of my compatriots in half, I'm out. Drop the sword, drop the shield, and run back to the ship at full sprint the whole time. Run like that guy at the beginning of 28 Weeks Later. Sauve qui peut. Completely unashamed, because there is no amount of honor or glory or whatever that'll make you win in that sort of matchup.
